Why Europe needs its own office suite

Over the past two years we've built AI for organisations where privacy and reliability aren't optional: TU Delft, and the municipalities of Delft and Rotterdam. Today ArkOffice runs in production at the Municipality of Delft.

That work taught us two things. First, people don't want another AI tool next to their office suite. They want the office suite itself to be smart. Second, the organisations that care most about where their data goes had almost nowhere to turn. The familiar suites run under US jurisdiction, and their AI comes as a separate subscription on top.

So we built the suite we wanted them to have, and now we're opening it to everyone. You keep the apps you know. Your files stay in Europe. And every major AI model is included, not sold to you later.

Transcription

Meetings and calls in, speaker-labelled notes out. Works with Meet, Teams, Zoom or any browser tab.

Because every app reads and writes the same place, the AI isn't a separate tool you copy and paste between. Ask Chat to summarise this morning's meeting and it can pull the transcript, draft the follow-up doc, build a slide deck and file everything in Drive.

AI usage is metered in credits. Free includes 200 a month and Pro includes 2,000, so heavy users on Pro can keep going on pay as you go at €0.015 per credit, or set a hard cap.

ArkOffice is made and hosted in Europe. Your files, chats and workspace live on EU servers run by a Dutch company under European privacy law. They're encrypted in transit and at rest, visible only to you and the people you share with, never used to train AI and never sold.

Note

One nuance worth knowing: if you pick a frontier model like Claude, Gemini or ChatGPT, that prompt may be processed by the provider outside the EU, still under EU law and never used for training. Switch on EU-only mode and the model picker only offers models that process entirely inside the EU.

Is it really free?

Will my Word, Excel and PowerPoint files work?
Yes. Docs, Sheets and Slides open and save DOCX, XLSX and PPTX, plus PDF and the open ODF formats. No broken layouts, no conversions, no lock-in.
Which AI models can I use?

What is EU-only mode?
