01Careers at Arkintel

Build AI that
empowers everyone.

Arkintel builds, ships and runs AI software in Delft. A suite of apps, custom solutions composed from them, and sovereign on-prem deployments that help people use information to innovate, grow and transform what they do. Our software shows up in city halls, lecture rooms, debt-counsellor desks and private companies. The studio is small on purpose, the work is varied, and we're always open to talent that helps us do more of it.

open applications · always

We always read open applications.

Even when nothing is listed, we read every application. If you're strong at what you do and you believe in building AI that breaks down barriers — instead of building new ones — get in touch. Your role doesn't have to exist yet.

02why arkintel

Small studio,
real impact.

Arkintel is small on purpose. The people designing the system are the people you’ll talk to. No middle layers, no prototypes that never ship, no AI-flavoured slide decks. Work with us and your code, copy, video or design ships in weeks, not someday — in front of real users: civil servants, students, residents and professionals.

01 · ship to real users

Production over prototypes.

What we build runs in production — inside city halls, universities, businesses and joint ventures. Civil servants, students, residents and professionals use it as part of their day. No demos that never ship; your work is in front of people on day one.

02 · small studio, big surface

Senior team, flat structure.

No middle managers, no handoffs, no slide decks pretending to be roadmaps. You'll talk to the founders, own work end-to-end, and move across apps, customer builds and deployments as the work demands.

03 · the mission

Knowledge empowers everyone.

Arkintel exists to break down the barriers between people and the power of information, so anyone can use it to innovate, grow and transform what they do. Sometimes that looks like sovereign infrastructure for an institution; sometimes it's a chatbot a student leans on at 11pm. If that mission resonates with you, you'll fit in here.

What we’re hiring for
right now.

When something is listed here, we’re interviewing for it. The list is usually short — we hire when the right person turns up, not when the calendar says so. If your shape isn’t on the list, send an open application — we always read them.

Internship

Social media & marketing intern

Run Arkintel's social presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok and YouTube, alongside the founders. You'll plan the content calendar, write the copy, shoot b-roll at our talks, demos and customer site visits, and turn the studio's work into a story people can follow.

// what you'll do

  • Plan and ship a weekly content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Write social posts and captions in Arkintel's voice: sharp, sovereign, opinionated, never marketing-mush.
  • Capture photo and video at talks, keynotes, customer site visits and around the studio in Delft.
  • Edit short-form video (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) and longer-form keynote highlights for YouTube.
  • Track what works (impressions, follower growth, qualified inbound) and iterate the calendar accordingly.
  • Co-own one or two campaigns end-to-end — from brief to publish to retrospective.

// who you are

  • A student or recent grad in marketing, communications, design, journalism or something tangential. We care about the work, not the degree.
  • You actually use the platforms you'd be posting on, and you have opinions about what's good.
  • You can write English copy that sounds like a person, not a brand voice generator.
  • Comfortable with a camera, basic photo / video editing (CapCut, Premiere, Lightroom, Figma).
  • Self-directed; you don't need a brief for every post.
  • Bonus: Dutch language skills, since a lot of our customers and partners are Dutch.

// what you get

  • Hands-on ownership of Arkintel's social channels: planning, copy, capture and publish.
  • Work alongside the team on real talks, demos and customer visits.
  • Reference or recommendation and study credit where your programme requires it.
  • Tools and a desk in Delft; travel to events when we're there together.

04apply anyway

Role not listed?
Write to us anyway.

Engineers, designers, product thinkers, writers, marketers, operations, growth, AI researchers — if it matters to a studio shipping real software to real people, we want to hear from you. We’d genuinely rather hear from a strong person without a slot than turn down the next five hires because the listing doesn’t exist yet.

// before you write

What to put in your message.

A useful first application saves us all a week. None of this is a filter — it just helps us read it well.

  • A short paragraph on what you've been working on lately and why it interests you.
  • Links — GitHub, portfolio, LinkedIn, talks, posts you've written, anything that shows the work.
  • A line on how you'd see yourself fitting into Arkintel (an open role or a shape we don't have yet).
  • Where you're based and what timeline you're thinking about.

05common questions

Common questions.

Practical answers up front. Anything else — ask in the form.

I don't see a role for what I do. Should I still apply?
Yes. We always read open applications. Tell us what you're working on, what you've shipped, and how you'd want to fit — the role doesn't have to exist yet.
Is the work remote?
Hybrid. The studio is in Delft, and a lot of the work — talks, customer site visits, recording — happens in person. We're flexible on day-to-day arrangements once you're in the rhythm.
Do you sponsor visas?
Not today. We're a small studio and most of our work is in or around Delft. If you're already in the Netherlands or the EU, that's the easiest path.
Are listed roles paid?
It depends on the opening. The marketing internship is for-credit and carries no salary; paid roles will say so on the listing. Looking for paid work but think we'd click? Send an open application anyway.

ready to apply?

Apply via the form, even if
your role isn't listed.

We always read open applications. Use the contact form with a paragraph on what you're working on and the links that show the work — we come back honestly, including when we're not the right fit.
